Soon after the hectic yet organized packing up of drill rifles, air rifles, and uniforms, about 40 cadets packed into the large charter bus rented for the occasion. Once the students were situated on the bus, they headed to Flour Bluff. With one stop to figure out how to work the TVs the cadets settled down to enjoy the three hour ride to the long awaited competition.
After loading up on copious amounts of utensils, food items, and beverages, the members of Staff head to their set destination. When they arrive at Time Warner Park, they promptly begin to set up. Cadets soon begin to file into the sunlit eating room and place soda, desserts, varying kinds of salads, and what seem to be a thousand varieties of chips on the long tables. With the food prepared, the face paints placed, and the activities set up, the annual Corps Picnic begins.
